Getting Started

Visit app.godelterminal.com on your internet browser and press the “Register” button on the top-right. Register via email, Google, X, and GitHub. You can use any browser, but Chrome has been tested for best reliability.

Navigation

When you first open Godel Terminal up to six panels appear. The panels are independent workspaces that enable you to multitask within Gödel Terminal. You can move and resize any panel to your liking. You can move from one panel to another using Tab which cycles through open panels or by clicking on the specific panel you want to use.

For those unfamiliar with terminal style platforms: note that shortcut links can be pinned to the top to the most common used functions (selected by user).

Shortcut Description

Tab Cycles through open windows
Shift + Tab Switches between your last two active windows
Shift + Arrow Key Moves the active window
Option + Arrow Key Changes the size of the active window
Shift + Control + Arrow Key Snaps the active window to the edge of the screen
Shift + Option + Arrow Key Changes the size of the active window to the edge of the screen
Esc Closes the current window

Note: for macOS users, by default for function keys to work, you must hold down the function “fn” key on your keyboard while using function keys.
